Firefox 4 выйдет в 2010 году
Компания Mozilla опубликовала план своего развития на ближайший год. Так, согласно ей, релиз браузера Firefox 4 состоится не ранее 3-4 квартала 2010 года.
Среди функций, которые планируется включить в следующий релиз - обновленный интерфейс, поддержка мульти-тач жестов (или mouse gestures). Конечно, это всего лишь черновик, и еще рано говорить о каких-то конкретных изменениях. К этому времени, с интервалом в полгода планируется выпустить две менее значительные версии 3.6 и 3.7. Первая из них ожидается уже в ближайшие месяцы. Главная цель этих обновлений - улучшить обработку Javascript, синхронизацию закладок, а также общую мощность браузера.
Разработчики также обещают, что в Firefox 4 каждая вкладка будет иметь свой отдельный процесс - так, как это сейчас реализовано в браузере Google Chrome.
Последняя стабильная версия браузера - Firefox 3.5 - была выпущена в июне 2009 года.
